Lightships, like lighthouses, served as guides for many mariners crossing through dangerous waters. Listen to stories of these forgotten sentinels of the Columbia River and make your own lantern to light your way home! No registration is required. Annual or One Day Discover Pass is required for vehicle access. Discover Passes are available online and at park entrance. The Benson Beach Amphitheater is located in Campground Loop A, just down the adjacent path by the restrooms.
