SR- 105 Corridor Management Plan
Bay 2 Bay

We are excited to announce that we are updating the SR 105 Corridor Management Plan, a significant milestone that hasn’t been addressed since 1998. This update will bring huge benefits to our community and region, ensuring the highway continues to serve as more than just a transportation route.

SR 105 is a gateway to the natural beauty, coastal culture, and rich history of Washington’s southwestern coast. From recreation and local travel to exploring charming small towns and state parks, this highway embodies the spirit of the Pacific Northwest. The updated plan will enhance its value, preserving its unique character while improving its role in connecting communities and supporting local growth.

This effort marks an important step in shaping the future of SR 105 for generations to come.

  • Preserve the scenic value and ecological importance of the SR-105 corridor.
  • Enhance infrastructure for safety and accessibility.
  • Encourage sustainable tourism to boost local economies.
  • Engage communities and stakeholders in the planning process.

Engaging stakeholders and the community is essential for the success of the SR 105 Corridor Management Plan. By incorporating feedback from local residents, business owners, and other key partners, the plan ensures that development aligns with the unique needs and values of the region. Community workshops and stakeholder interviews have provided valuable insights into challenges such as highway safety, tourism impacts, and environmental conservation, while also identifying opportunities for growth and collaboration. These discussions have helped shape a shared vision that respects the area’s natural and cultural heritage, promotes economic sustainability, and enhances the quality of life for residents and visitors alike. Together, these efforts demonstrate the importance of building partnerships and fostering dialogue to create a vibrant and resilient future for the corridor.
