Evergreen Coast Earns National Spotlight in November 2025
– November 2025 delivered high-profile national and regional media coverage for Washington’s Evergreen Coast, positioning the destination as a place for wellness, dramatic coastal scenery, historic lodging, and seasonal seafood traditions as the region transitioned into winter.
The month’s most prominent feature came from Oprah Magazine, which included the Evergreen Coast in its roundup of “30 Beach Resorts That Will Reset Your Mind and Body”. The story highlighted restorative coastal stays and underscored the region’s appeal as a place to unplug, recharge, and reconnect with nature following a hosted press trip.
Print coverage also made a significant impact, with 1889 Magazine featuring the Tokeland Hotel in a dedicated story and highlighting the region’s culinary scene in a separate gastronomy feature. Both articles were the result of an immersive press visit and helped reinforce the Evergreen Coast’s reputation for historic charm, locally rooted hospitality, and elevated dining experiences.
Digital travel media further amplified the destination. Yahoo Life spotlighted the area in its feature on Washington’s underrated coastal corner, praising its seafood feasts, windswept hikes, and harborfront character. Condé Nast Traveler added international credibility with a hotel review of Snow Peak Campfield Long Beach, showcasing the region’s blend of design-forward lodging and outdoor immersion.
Seasonal natural phenomena were also widely covered. The Oregonian published guides on king tide season, including what to know about peak king tides, while the Centralia Chronicle reported on the first king tides of the season hitting the Washington coast. These stories reinforced the Evergreen Coast as a premier destination for storm watching and dramatic coastal viewing.
Historic landmarks and cultural attractions received continued attention throughout the month. Daily Kos published photo features on the Cape Disappointment Lighthouse and the North Head Lighthouse, while My Family Travels highlighted living history experiences at landmark seaside inns and profiled quiet coastal villages ideal for slow travel.
As the holidays approached, seafood and fishing stories rounded out the coverage. The Daily World reported that fishermen are dreaming of a crabby Christmas. Meanwhile, Discover Our Coast celebrated fall flavors with its feature on seasonal cranberry, cinnamon, and coffee beverages.
Together, November’s media coverage reinforced Washington’s Evergreen Coast as a year-round destination—one that offers wellness, heritage, dramatic coastal landscapes, and authentic seasonal experiences well beyond the summer months.
