Join Jenelle and Michelle as they lead you through the chakras with movement, sound, and self-reflection. We’ll start with the Base Chakra (Muladhara) February 22nd, and each following workshop will move up to the next chakra. These beautifully designed 90-minute sessions will explore that chakra’s role as an energy center and its influence on your daily life. The Root Chakra is associated with our most basic needs—safety, stability, grounding, and our sense of belonging on the earth. Connected to the element of Earth and often represented by the color red, this energy center supports feelings of security and steadiness when in harmony. When it’s out of balance, it may show up as fear, anxiety, money-related stress, or even physical discomfort, particularly in the digestive system. We will start each workshop with a centering cacao ceremony designed to help you settle onto the mat and set your intention for your practice. Inspired Mind Matters is proudly using Macaw Kakau -Cacao from Costa Rica. This is a beautiful story of sustainability and resilience that you can read about here:https://www.macawkakau.com/ Next, enjoy a Vin2Yin session with poses connecting to the attributes of the chakra and yourself. Starting with gentle vinyasa by Jenelle, followed by relaxing yin yoga led by Michelle. All poses are suitable for all levels. We provide all necessary mats, bolsters, blankets, blocks, and straps, though you are welcome to bring your own. We conclude with a serene and relaxing sound bath and meditation using crystal bowls, gongs, chimes, and a wave drum. Engaging in gentle yoga, meditation, and sound therapy together can amplify the benefits. Combining these practices can lead to: -Holistic Stress Reduction: Addressing stress from multiple angles (physical, mental, and emotional). -Enhanced Mind-Body Connection: Improving the synchronization between the mind and body. -Comprehensive Healing: Promoting overall health and well-being through a multi-faceted approach.
