More Information:
An exhibition of salmon and oyster label art drawn from the collection of Matt Winters, publisher of the Chinook Observer, and an avid historian. Label artistry incorporated everything from flowers, animals, and landscapes to patriotic themes and current events, all with the intent of capturing the shopper’s attention. Labels are not only remnants of the past industry, but they are also beautiful examples of commercial art and printing. Winters has collected with an eye to both.
CPHM is open Wednesday – Saturday, 10 am – 4 pm.
Admission is FREE, thanks to the Port of Ilwaco and our Rising Tide Members.
