More Information:
Explore the possibilities of manipulating and altering wheel-thrown forms with Gary Johnson. This intermediate class will look at ways to push, cut, compress, stretch, and reshape thrown vessels to create more dynamic forms for both sculptural and functional use. The emphasis will be on moving beyond the perfectly round pot and discovering how alteration can bring movement, tension, and personality into your work.
