In this one-day workshop, students will create a set of small bud vases using coil-building techniques. The class will focus on forming elegant, functional vessels while exploring proportion, silhouette, and the subtle design choices that give a vase its personality.
Participants will learn how to shape and refine coils into smooth, intentional forms, creating vessels that are perfect for displaying a single flower stem or small arrangement. In the second half of class, students will apply underglaze to add color, pattern, and surface detail, making each vase uniquely their own.
Students will leave class with their vases ready for drying and firing; finished pieces will be available for pickup approximately 3–4 weeks later.
