Participants will learn about different patterning and marbling techniques using different color clay bodies and neon color stained porcelain. We’ll roll out slabs, cut out 2-4 coasters forms and spend the remaining class refining and perfecting the pieces. Clay Plays are beginner-friendly, all-levels sessions where you’ll learn simple handbuilding techniques while making a functional or decorative piece. Come solo, bring a partner, or gather a group. No experience needed, just the desire to slow down and make something by hand. Each session includes a live demo, all materials, and glaze and firing services. Make it today, treasure it forever. Finished pieces will be ready for pickup in 3 to 6 weeks. If you’re visiting from out of town, we can ship your piece for $15 plus postage.
