Castaway’s Seafood Grille is a lively seafood restaurant and full bar in downtown Long Beach, WA, on Washington’s Evergreen Coast. The building began as the Pacific Hotel around the turn of the 20th century, later became a tavern, and opened as Castaway’s in 2006. A complete restoration in 2022 gave the historic space a fresh look.

What to Order.

Castaway’s clam chowder was voted best at the Clam Festival, and the beer-battered Pacific cod fish ’n chips are a house favorite. Look for Willapa Bay oysters on the half shell or fried, local manila steamer clams, beer-battered Alaskan halibut, crab cakes, cheesy crab bread, a halibut po’ boy and burgers, finished with house-made desserts like deep-dish berry cobbler. The bar pours cocktails, including the Castaway’s Mai Tai, plus mocktails.
