Tucked inside the historic Taylor Hotel building in Ocean Park, the Shoalwater Bay Yacht Club is where coastal culture meets community connection. Open to the public, the club is a local gathering place for good food, great conversation, live music, and a shared love of the bay.

While we may not sit on the shoreline, our mission is deeply tied to the water. Through our nonprofit arm, the Shoalwater Bay Sailing Foundation, we provide free youth sailing programs every summer just minutes away at the Port of Peninsula. From beginner lessons and regattas to hands-on boatbuilding and environmental education, the foundation helps local families connect with the bay – no experience or equipment needed.

Back at the club, you’ll find lively BBQs, member mixers, live entertainment, game nights like Mahjong Sundays, and community planning events. Members enjoy discounts on food, drinks, and club gear and help support our mission to keep sailing accessible to all.
