FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Adrift Hospitality Honored with State of Washington’s Destination Stewardship Award

Adrift Hospitality, a cornerstone of sustainable tourism in Pacific County, has been awarded the State of Washington’s Destination Stewardship Award, recognizing its outstanding commitment to environmental awareness, regenerative travel, and community values.

Presented annually by State of Washington Tourism, this prestigious award honors individuals, businesses, or nonprofits that demonstrate leadership in responsible travel and stewardship practices.

“This recognition is deeply meaningful to us at Adrift Hospitality,” said Tiffany Turner, CEO of Adrift Hospitality. “From the beginning, our mission has been to create experiences that care for both people and place. To be honored by the state for destination stewardship affirms that sustainable hospitality and community care can go hand in hand.”

Adrift Hospitality’s commitment extends far beyond traditional sustainability practices. Through local sourcing, waste reduction, carbon-conscious operations, and year-round community engagement, the company has built a model that blends economic impact with environmental responsibility. Its hotels, restaurants, and cultural initiatives serve as a foundation for Pacific County’s tourism identity — one that values authenticity, creativity, and stewardship of the coast’s natural beauty.

“This award really belongs to our community,” Turner added. “Pacific County has always been a place defined by collaboration, creativity, and care for the land. This recognition shines a light on how small coastal communities like ours can lead in sustainability and regenerative tourism.”

Washington’s Evergreen Coast celebrates this recognition as a win for the region’s broader tourism strategy, reinforcing the value of sustainable growth and local collaboration. As the county’s official destination marketing organization, Evergreen Coast partners closely with Adrift Hospitality and other local businesses to showcase how responsible tourism can drive economic development while preserving the integrity of the coast.

“This honor inspires us to keep going — to continue investing in sustainable practices, supporting local producers, and deepening our partnerships within the community,” Turner said. “Our vision is a future where hospitality strengthens both the environment and the people who call this place home.”

This recognition places Pacific County firmly at the forefront of Washington’s sustainable travel movement — proving that small, coastal communities can make a big impact through collaboration, creativity, and care for place.
