Halloween Events in Long Beach, WA & Pacific County 2026
October on Washington’s Evergreen Coast has a little bit of everything.
Cranberry bogs turn bright red as harvest gets underway. Pumpkin patches fill with fall color. Ghost stories take over the cidery. After dark, a quiet golf course becomes considerably less quiet. And as Halloween gets closer, costumes, haunted attractions, live music and trick-or-treating take over communities around Pacific County.
Whether you prefer your fall getaway cozy, spooky or somewhere in between, Hauntoween on Washington’s Evergreen Coast gives you plenty of reasons to head to the coast this October.
Here’s what’s happening in 2026.
Cranberry Harvest Weekend
October 10–11 | Long Beach
Fall on the Long Beach Peninsula wouldn’t be complete without cranberry harvest.
Cranberries have deep roots in this part of Pacific County, and October is one of the most interesting times to see the industry in action. Cranberry Harvest Weekend is an opportunity to learn about the region’s cranberry-growing heritage, visit the Cranberry Museum and, depending on harvest activity, catch a glimpse of the colorful wet harvest that turns local bogs brilliant shades of red.
The Cranberry Museum, located at 2907 Pioneer Road in Long Beach, offers visitors a closer look at how cranberries are grown and harvested. Its farm walking tour is also open year-round, and October is an especially good time to explore it.
If you’ve ever driven past a cranberry bog and wondered what happens between vine and table, this is the weekend to find out.

Bogs, Bobbers & Bevs Harvest Festival
October 10 | Noon–9 p.m. | Ilwaco Cider Company
You can keep the harvest celebration going in downtown Ilwaco during the third annual Bogs, Bobbers & Bevs Harvest Festival at Ilwaco Cider Company.
This free, all-ages event packs a surprising amount into one Saturday. Look for apple crushing, harvest games, fly-fishing demonstrations, face painting and kids’ activities throughout the day. Local vendors will be on site from noon to 6 p.m., and visitors can even stop by an “Ask a Cranberry Farmer” session from 2–5 p.m.
Harvest-themed caricatures run from 4–6 p.m., followed by live music from People Person from 7–9 p.m.
Between the cranberries, cider, fishing and live music, it’s a very Pacific County way to celebrate fall.
Pick the Perfect Pumpkin at Pacific Pumpkin Patch
Weekends Through October 31 | Noon–5 p.m. | Ilwaco
A pumpkin patch and October simply belong together.
Pacific Pumpkin Patch, located at 2613 US 101 in Ilwaco, is open Saturdays and Sundays throughout the month, with pumpkins, fall photo opportunities, games, a corn pit, kids’ activities and seasonal décor.
Each weekend has a slightly different theme:
October 10–11: Fall Family Weekend
October 17–18: Harvest Weekend
October 24–25: Halloween Family Weekend
October 31: Halloween at the Patch
Halloween itself comes with an extra reason to wear your costume: costumed visitors receive free admission and half-price pumpkins.
Regular gate admission is $8 for adults, $5 for kids and free for children age two and younger.

Peninsula Story Slam: Ghost Stories
October 14 | Sign-Up at 5:30 p.m. | Stories 6–7 p.m. | Ilwaco Cider Company
Some Halloween stories are better when they’re true.
Peninsula Story Slam returns to Ilwaco Cider Company with a perfectly timed October theme: Ghost Stories.
Ten storytellers will be selected to share a five-minute story with the crowd. The stories can be funny, eerie, dramatic, heartfelt or somewhere in between, as long as they fit the theme and belong to the person telling them.
Afterward, the audience anonymously votes for its favorite.
You don’t have to tell a story to participate. Grab a seat, order something to drink and settle in for an evening of local storytelling. The event is free, family-friendly and open to all ages.
Music Bingo: Halloween Favorites
October 15 | 7 p.m. | Ilwaco Cider Company
The Halloween soundtrack takes over Music Bingo on October 15.
Instead of numbers being called, listen for familiar songs and mark them off your bingo card as you recognize them. This Halloween edition will feature spooky-season favorites, with prizes for bingo winners and the best-dressed guests.
Costumes are encouraged, the event is free to play and all ages are welcome.
Arriving a little early is a good idea if you want to grab a seat, especially with Halloween music on the playlist.

Enter Camp Bloodwood…If You Dare
October 16–17 & October 22–November 1 | Peninsula Golf Course, Long Beach
Once the sun goes down, Peninsula Golf Course trades peaceful fairways for something much more sinister.
Camp Bloodwood is a haunted golf course experience that sends guests out after dark aboard golf carts. Along the way, expect creepy characters, surprises and a mystery unfolding across the course.
It’s part haunted attraction, part Halloween adventure and definitely a different way to experience a golf course.
Camp Bloodwood is open October 16–17 and again October 22 through November 1. Weekday scares run from dusk until 8 p.m., while weekends continue until 10 p.m.
Admission is $15 for adults when purchased in advance or $18 at the door. Children ages 5–11 are $7, and lap children are free. Golf carts are included with admission. An advance-purchase family package is also available for two adults and two children.
You’ll find Camp Bloodwood at Peninsula Golf Course, 9604 Pacific Way in Long Beach.
Pacific County Harvest Festival
October 24 | 1–6 p.m. | Willapa Valley
Hauntoween isn’t limited to the Long Beach Peninsula.
Head north on October 24 for the fifth annual Pacific County Harvest Festival in the Willapa Valley. The community celebration combines a traditional fall festival with Trunk or Treat, giving families another chance to break out the costumes before Halloween arrives.
The festival is scheduled from 1–6 p.m. Organizers currently list the location as to be announced in the Willapa Valley, so check for updated details as the event gets closer.

Beast Bash: Slasher Night
October 24 | 8 p.m.–12:30 a.m. | Ilwaco Cider Company | 21+
When the family-friendly festivities wind down, Ilwaco Cider Company turns its attention to the grown-ups.
Beast Bash returns October 24 with a Slasher Night theme and an evening inspired by classic horror movies.
The 21-and-over Halloween party begins at 8 p.m. and continues until 12:30 a.m., with live music, DJs, costumes and plenty of horror-themed atmosphere.
There’s even a Crystal Lake-inspired haunted house for anyone willing to find out what might be waiting inside.
For visitors looking for a Halloween night out rather than pumpkin patches and trick-or-treating, Beast Bash offers a decidedly more grown-up version of Hauntoween.
Halloween Day in Ilwaco
October 31 | Downtown Ilwaco
Halloween itself is shaping up to be one of the biggest days of Hauntoween.
The Ilwaco Halloween Block Party returns October 31, bringing costumes and trick-or-treating into downtown Ilwaco. It’s become a Halloween tradition for local families, with businesses and community organizations helping turn downtown into a place where kids can celebrate together.
The Port of Ilwaco has confirmed the Block Party for October 31, with additional 2026 details expected closer to Halloween.
And after the trick-or-treaters have made their rounds, Halloween continues just down the street.

Halloween Thriller Dance at Ilwaco Cider Company
October 31 | 8 p.m. | Ilwaco Cider Company
Halloween night wouldn’t be complete without “Thriller.”
Ilwaco Cider Company is bringing back its Halloween Thriller Dance on October 31, beginning at 8 p.m. Come dressed for Halloween and join the crowd for one last spooky-season celebration.
Herded Catz will provide live music from 8:30–10:30 p.m., giving you plenty of reason to stick around after the Thriller Dance is over.
If you spend Halloween afternoon trick-or-treating around Ilwaco, this makes an easy transition into an evening out and a fitting finale to a month packed with Hauntoween events.
Make a Fall Getaway Out of It
One of the best parts about Hauntoween is that you don’t have to choose just one event.
Come for Cranberry Harvest Weekend and spend the afternoon at Bogs, Bobbers & Bevs. Pair a trip to the pumpkin patch with an evening at Camp Bloodwood. Head north for the Pacific County Harvest Festival before making your way back toward the Peninsula. Or plan a Halloween weekend around pumpkin picking, trick-or-treating and a final Thriller Dance in downtown Ilwaco.
And between events, October brings its own reasons to explore Washington’s Evergreen Coast: cool beach walks, stormy skies, local seafood, cranberry harvest, cozy restaurants and the quieter pace that arrives after summer.
Some people come to the coast for sunshine.
In October, we think a little fog, a few ghosts and a dark trail through Camp Bloodwood can be just as much fun.
Come experience Hauntoween on Washington’s Evergreen Coast.
